Castile Soap | A Versatile Option For Your Home

Castile soap is a liquid soap with almost no scented, and it can be used in So. Many. Ways.

Here are just a few:

FOAMING HAND SOAP
  • distilled or boiled water
  • 2 tbsp Castile soap
  • 1 tsp oil of choice (ideas: fractionated coconut, almond, apricot kernel, avocado)
  • 10-20 drops of essential oils of your choice (ideas: lavender, peppermint, grapefruit)
Add water to a hand soap bottle with foam dispensing pump. Leave 1 inch at the top. Add Castile soap, oil and essential oils. Screw on pump and gently shake.

VEGGIE WASH
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp Castile soap
Mix water and Castile soap in a bowl. Wash your veggies and rinse well.

SINK + TUB CLEANER
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp Castile soap
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • essential oils (optional)

3 parts water + 1 part vinegar solution in a spray bottle
Mix first four ingredients together in a spray bottle. Shake and spray on sink/tub/shower and scrub with your cleaning tool of choice (EcoCoconut scourers are affordable + biodegradable). Rinse off the residue with the vinegar solution. If you can't stand the smell of vinegar, try adding a few drops of your favourite essential oils to your solution.
