Why are you using plastic pouches to ship refill?
We know that many of you are trying to reduce your reliance on plastics, but this is the most cost efficient way to ship refill while reducing the amount of shipping material required and significantly reduce breakage in transit. We're always looking for more sustainable packaging options so this may change in the future.
Can I return my e+a refill pouches to the store?
Absolutely. We include a $0.50 deposit in the pricing of refill pouches and when returned to our store, you'll receive that $0.50 back (we hope you use it towards more refill!)
Can I still order my refill in glass mason jars?
Yes! When shopping refill on our website, you'll see that most items have the option to select "glass mason jars" for filling. There is a $2 deposit built into the price for these products, so when you return the glassware to us, you'll receive that $2 deposit back.
Do you reuse the pouches and glassware?
Yes, we clean and sanitize all of the pouches and glassware for refill as per Health Canada's recommendations.
Can I bring in my own container?
Due to COVID-19 our store is temporarily closed, and we are not filling personal containers at this time.
I'm new to shopping refill. Where do I start?
We suggest using up what you have and once a container is empty, give it a clean (let dry for 24hrs) and head to your nearest refill shop (we hope it's eco+amour!) Our staff is extremely knowledgeable on each product we carry in store (or at one of the kiosk locations) and can help you to select the right product for your family and your home.
What do I need to bring on my first visit?
Grab your clean, dry and damage free containers and lids and a reusable bag - that's it! And, if you don't have any containers ready to go, we always have a selection of pre-loved, sanitized containers available at no cost for our customers - or you can "borrow" one of our e+a mason jars for a small deposit of $1 CAD.
How do you measure the amount of product refilled?
We simply weigh your container when it's empty, and again when it's full. An easy subtraction gives us the weight of the product, which we then multiply by the cost per gram. (So simple right!?) Are plastic containers ok?
You bet! As long as it closes tightly and is clean, dry and undamaged we'll fill it for you!

Can I return purchased items?
All product refills are final sale - so if you're trying something new, we encourage you to only purchase a small amount. If you've purchased a pre-packaged item off the shelf, or online and are not satisfied, we're happy to help rectify the situation on a case by case basis.
What items do your refill kiosks/partners stock?
Each of our refill parters carry the same inventory (so rest assured you'll find the same great e+a essentials lineup at each one!). The essentials include: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, Castile soap, hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, creme deodorant, bath salts, sugar scrub, toilet tabs, all-purpose cleaning tabs, and dishwasher tabs. Do you offer discounts for anyone?
We're happy to be a part of the Healthy Moms discount program, where cardholders save 20% off refill in store everyday. We also offer seniors and students 15% off every Thursday.
Can I donate my pre-loved containers to the store?
You sure can! We accept only glass containers with rust free lids, or standard mason jars with or without lids. All donated containers must be free of cracks and chips.
What methods of payment do you accept at your Scarborough location?
Cash, credit (Visa, MC, Amex), debit or Apple Pay!
I ordered online - how long does it take to ship?
We usually ship your order within 2-5 business days. Within Canada we use CanadaPost Expedited Shipping – this can up to a week depending on where you are in Canada. Outside of Canada orders can take 1-2 weeks to arrive. If your package arrives in a bumped up box, or if the packing material doesn't "match" it's because we reuse everything we can (and encourage you to use the box/packing material too!)
Can I drop off my containers and pick them up later?
Sure can! Pop in anytime during store hours with your containers and let us know what you'd like to fill. Leave your number (or email) and we'll let you know as soon as they're ready for pickup (usually same day!)
